She made her West End debut in Daisy Pulls lieutenant Office at the Globe Theatre. Bain made appearances in film as well, appearing in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Phantom of the Opera and television in serials such as Casualty and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Bain died on 5 July 2014.
She was 55.
