Career
Being one of the greatest landowners in Norway and childless, the prospect of inheriting her affected the political acts of the nobility of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. She was known as "Lady Ingerd the Elder" to distinguish her from her relative, the landowner lady Inger til Austrått.
