Schebesta, Ingo was born in Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Son of Franz Emil Schebesta (Business consultant) and Karin Maria Ursula Schebesta, born Seiffert (Visual artist).
Diploma in Physics, Dipl.-Phys. (University of Münster, Germany). Doctor Natural Science, Dr. rer. nat. (University of Bremen, Germany).
To understand nature and the meaning of life Schebesta started his career to study physics and doing research in theoretical physics (chaos theory). He visualized dynamics of nonlinear systems like the differential equations of the top. These equations can generally only be solved numerically, show chaos, the butterfly effect etc.
He used and programmed silicon graphics computers that are also used for visual effects by Hollywood.
He left science as he missed adventurous researchers like we had them at the beginning of 1900 with relativity theory and quantum mechanics.
He founded a company for visual effects and animation in cologne and produced films for private and public television. Later he was producer for television shows for RTL and Sat.1.
After a show season he was asked to work for development aid for KfW (Germany) in Kenya. There he worked together with another social marketing expert in the area of public health. They did field studies and developed together with the Kenyan target audience a culturally appropriate packaging with leaflet for anti contraceptives that can be understood by illiterate as well as Swahili speakers.
After a deadly car accident in Kenya that Schebesta survived almost unharmed, he decided to stop commissioned work for TV and joined Adam Opel AG. One level beneath the board he worked as a specialist for knowledge management. Finally that led him back to university, where knowledge, computer graphics and science merged again.
From his early life Schebesta learned music theory at the age of five and started with his first piano lessons. Soon he learned guitar, bass, drums, cello and earned some money with his school band. At that time he sang an composed songs as well. He started to record his first songs with analog tape machines like Revox, later with MIDI and synthesizers. During his time as a film producer he could earn some money with compositions for TV and film.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the basic feeling that stands at the cradle of true art and science. If you don't know it and can no longer wonder, you are dead, so to speak, and your eyes have gone out." (Albert Einstein, 1952)
