Background
She is the daughter of music teachers guitarist Terje Neset (b 1959) and pianist Anne Leni Søfteland Sæbø (b 1961), and the sister of the vocalist Anna Søfteland Neset (b 1987) and jazz saxophonist Marius Søfteland Neset (b 1985).

Neset picked up the flute at the age of ten and attended the Music program at Langhaugen vgs.
Career
2008-2010). Neset gave five concerts with the trio "Jenter fra Bergen" at the "Fartein Valen Festival" in 2009, played with the Young Symphony Orchestra at the Bergen International Festival, and performed for the Norwegian Royals when they wisited Austevoll the same year. 2009: Musician of the Year at the Norwegian Young Musician Competition in Oslo.
