While in school, was known as an excellent catcher. Inokawa Toshiharu graduated from Department of Commercial Sciences of Meiji University.
Career
Later entered Railroad Bureau of Moji, where he served as both catcher and coach for the bureau’s baseball team. Thereafter served successively as both catcher and assistant coach for Hankyu Braves team and for Toei Fliers team.
