Inomata Katsuhito graduated from the Art Department of Nihon University (1933).
Career
Inomata Katsuhito entered Kamata Scenario Department of Shochiku Motion Picture Company. After leaving same company (1942), advocated independence of scenario writing; founded Scenario Literary Arts Magazine to train younger scenario writers. Most of his works are based upon theme of an individual torn between his personal life and demands of society. Works include "Torrent of the Big City", "Spring of Wind and Snow", "Stay of Execution", "Oh, the Bloom of Youth", "Twenty Years of Wind and Snow", "The Modern", "Blue Revolution", "Pleasure of Evil", "Waitress.”
