Iorwerth Jones born in Loughor, was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1920s, playing representative level rugby union for Wales, and at club level for Llanelli Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Number Eight, and playing club level rugby league for Leeds, he died in Penclawdd.
