Since 1835 he worked as a teacher of languages at spiritual technical college in Vitebsk and polotsk, since 1844 he worked at nobiliary technicalcollege and gymnasium, he worked as an overlooker at plant technical college in panevezhje. In 1843 he published the article: The Word About the Language and Writen language of belarus" in Petersburg's magazine "Pharos". The article is devoted to the necessity of belarussian as a result of this Tsitovich gave the example called "The Father". The verse,"One Day in Belarus", wtitten in scatch, its value to the science, people study belarussian history and folklore.P.Tsitovich is the author of the work "Some Words About Development of the Russian language in Zhmudii, or Samagitii.(1851, the manuscript is reserved in the article of partnership, in Petersburg).
