Career
She is best known for her role as Shelby Woo on The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo. Ng has had starring roles on All My Children, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, and Figure lieutenant Out. She has guest starred on Law & Order and Teen Angel.
She also has appeared in several movies, including The Joy Luck Club and Oliver Stone"s Heaven & Earth.
After leaving her acting career behind her, Ng pursued her education, and is a graduate of Harvard University. She was formerly a banker for Merrill Lynch.
Today Irene is a preschool teacher at Mencius Mandarin Preschool. She lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
