She graduated from the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy (1983), Voronezh State Institute of Physical Culture (1989).
She played in the national teams of the USSR and the RSFSR (1977-1983) as a professional. Since 1986, she is in coaching in Voronezh. Since 1988, she is the head coach of the team "Record" ("SVS-Voronezh") and in 2006 she becomes the president of the club.
The Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1980), the 5-time champion of the USSR (1978-1982), champion of the World Universiade (1979), Olympic champion (Moscow, 1980), silver medalist of the European Championship (1981), 2-time winner of the European Champions Cup (1981, 1982), prize-winner of the Games of the peoples of the USSR (1981, 1983).
