Career
Kamil started his career by writing for television in 1998. After writing scripts for soaps such as Na Jaiyo Pardes and Kahan Se Kahan Tak, his first assignment in Mumbai was writing dialogue for Manish Goswami’s Kartavya. Soon followed Drishtaant, a serial produced and directed by Pankaj Kapur.
Brought to Mumbai by producer Lekh Tandon, Kamil later worked with musician Sandesh Shandilya.
Kamil has also been associated with English journalism.
