He died on April 22, 1948. Fish joined the Wisconsin National Guard in 1903. He served in the armed forces during the Mexican border dispute in 1916 and 1917.
During World World War II, Fish served in the Regular Army.
Afterwards, he transferred to the United States Army Reserve and in 1927, he returned to the Wisconsin National Guard. During World World War II, Fish transferred back to the Regular Army.
Served as Second lieutenant, captain and major, Wisconsin National Guard, 1903-1916. Member American, Wisconsin and Milwaukee Company bar associations, Wisconsin History Society, Psi Upsilon, Phi Delta Phi. Clubs: Milwaukee, Milwaukee Country.
