Henry A. Dillaye, of Syracuse, New York, October 11, 1870. Began practice at Syracuse, 1865. Mayor of Syracuse, 1879.

Justice Supreme Court of the New York, 1882-1896. Appointed by governor, 1896. Judge Court of Appeals, elected to same, 1896, for term of 14 years.

Reëlected, 1910 (retired on account of age, January 1, 1913).
