He lost the title to Dejan Zavec on 11 December 2009.
Achievements
He is a former IBO lightweight champion, as well as a former IBO and IBF welterweight champion. Hlatshwayo won the vacant IBF Welterweight Title against Delvin Rodríguez from the Dominican Republic on 1 August 2009.
