In Voronezh since 1913. In 1920-1922, secretary of the Voronezh provincial committee of the Russian Communist Youth Union. Subsequently: Crimean Regional Committee of the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union, responsible officer of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), personal secretary of Vyacheslav Molotov, deputy head of the United State Publishing Committee for Personnel, director of the Leipzig department of the People’s Commissariat for Foreign Trade, deputy head of the studio’s main department Mosfilm , director of the studio Soyuzdetfilm. Repressed in 1937, sentenced to administrative exile in Siberia. Rehabilitated in 1955.
