Fellow of Brasenose College Rector of Tedstone Delamere, Herefordshire. Afterwards Vicar of Gt. Malvern; successively Prebendary of Hereford Cathedral, and Honorary Canon of Worcester, and while in Worcestershire Rural Dean of Powick.
In Herefordshire he was Diocesan Inspector of Schools. Bampton Lecturer, 1873. Examining Chap, to Bishop of St. David’s, 1880-1900. Oxford, Honourable Rector of Gt. Shefford to 1906.
