Rocchietta was born on January 25, 1978 in Milan, Italy; the daughter of Claudio Rocchietta and Paola Luchetti.

Rocchietta was born on January 25, 1978 in Milan, Italy; the daughter of Claudio Rocchietta and Paola Luchetti.
Rocchietta received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Milan in 2002. She was awarded a Master of Science degree with merit in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry from the University of Manchester.
Rocchietta began her career as an intern at the Department of Periodontics and Implants in San Paolo Hospital of the University of Milan in 1998 and held it for four years. Also she was a clinical intern at the Private Practice "Orthodont" from 1998 to 1999. Then in 2000, Isabella became a founder and clinical intern in Disable Advanced Medical Assistance in San Paolo Hospital.
In 2003, she was appointed an instructor and examiner in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry of PostGraduate Program in Orthodontics and at Dental School of the University of Milan, where he worked until 2011. Since 2002 Rocchietta has been a private practitioner in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and research consultant at the Institute for Dental Research and Education since 2007.
Then she was awarded a scholarship from the department of Medicine of the University of Milan, in order to train as a clinical and research fellow at the Department of Periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine from 2004 to 2005.
In addition, since 2012 she has served as a clinical associate at Dawood and Tanner Specialist Dental Practice in London. Also since 2014 Isabella has worked as a lecturer for diploma in implant dentistry at UCL (University College London) Eastman Dental Institute.
Since 2015 she has been a senior clinical associate at London Centre for Implants and Aesthetic Dentistry. Rocchietta affiliated with Department of Biomaterials at the Institute for Clinical Sciences, The Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg and performs clinical work limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in London.
Rocchietta is the author of several international peer reviewed publications and book chapters and International speaker on bone regeneration, bone grafting with growth factors, tissue engineering, soft and hard tissue neo-formation with autogenous living cells, osseointegration and implant protocols.
Rocchietta is a member of Scientific Committee of the EAO (European Association for Osseointegration) Annual Meeting in Paris, the Scientific Committee of the EAO Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, the Osteology Expert Council of Osteology Foundation in Switzerland, the Scientific Committee of the EAO Annual Meeting in Glasgow, the Academy of Osseointegration and the Italian Society of Periodontology.
Also she was a chairman of the European Association for Osseointegration Junior Committee from 2007 to 2011.
On June 2, 2007 Isabella Rocchietta married Massimiliano Nitti. They have a child Guglielmo Maria Nitti.
