He graduated from Commercial Department of Waseda University in 1933.
Career
In 1933 entered Mitsubishi Shoji Kaisha (Mitsubishi Trading Company). He became managing director of Nitto Iron Industry Company in 1940, president of Aizu Kogyo Kaisha (Aizu Industrial Company) in 1944. In 1945 he bacame representative of Nitto Iron Industry Company, chairman of Nihon Kogata Sharyo Kyokai (Japan Small-Sized Vehicles Association) in 1946, president of Nitto Shoko Kaisha (Nitto Commerce & Industry Company). In 1950 he was president of Toyo Kokan Kaisha (Toyo Steel Pipe Manufacturing Company) and then in 1951 was elected to House of Councilors. From January 1957 he was Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice.
