Background
Isha Johansen was born as Isha Tejan-Cole in Freetown, Sierra Leone into the famous Tejan-Cole family, who are of Creole descent. She was raised in a religious muslim family. She is married to a Norwegian husband Arne Birger Johansen.

Career
Johansen is one of only two women in the world to head a national football association, along with Lydia Nsekera, the president of the Burundi football association. Isha Johansen is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Leone National Premier League club Football Club Johansen. Kallon disagreed with his disqualification and appeal to Fifa.
But the Fifa delegation to Freetown confirmed Kallon and the other candidates disqualifications, and so Johansen was elected unnoposed.
Isha Johansen founded her own football club Football Club Johansen in 2004. The club started with the objective of giving hope to a group of young football players, using sport as a means of channeling their energy into a positive healthy direction.
