Background
Ivan Filippovich Artamonov was born on March 7, 1918 in the village of Starozhivotinnoye, Voronezh district and died on October 5, 1944. He was buried in the village of Bazar of the Narodicy district of the Zhytomyr region, Ukrainian SSR. The street in Voronezh is named after Aramonov, where is established an information board (Artamonova Street, 38) (1974), school No. 36 (Otrozhka Settlement) and a local history museum of the same school are also named of his honor. The monument-bust of Artamonov and the memorial plaque are installed near the school (1968).
