Career
At the 1990 United States Open, in addition to appearing in the boy"s singles draw, Baron took part in the men"s singles, men"s doubles and mixed doubles. A wildcard entrant, Baron lost in straight sets to Fabrice Santoro in the singles. He partnered Michael Flanagan and Lisa Raymond in the doubles draws but was also unable to make it past the opening round in either.
When he returned to the United States Open main draw in 1993, it was as a qualifier.
He lost in four sets to Renzo Furlan in the first round and also exited in the first round of the doubles, partnering Michael Joyce. In the 1994 United States Open, Baron appeared only in the doubles, with Martin Blackman.
They lost in the opening round. He and Brett Hansen-Dent were doubles runners-up at the same event the following year.
