Late 1911 returned to Russia, but soon arrested and exiled for five years to Narym Kray. 1916 worked as tinsmith at Petrograd Promet Plant, then at Ayvaz Plant. After 1917 February Rcvol secretary, Vyborg Rayon Party Committee, Petrograd.
April 1917 issued Lenin his Party card upon Lenin’s return from emigration to Saint St. Petersburg. 1918, on Lenin’s instructions, organized first workers’ food detachment in Vyborg Rayon. 1918-1919 chief, Polit Department, 5th Army on Eastern Front.
1919-1920 Presidium member and exec secretary, All-Russian Extraordinary Commission Against Counterrevolution, Sabotage and Speculation. From 1921 admin work. Chairman, Board, Siberian Coal Trust.
Head, Yuzovka Rayon Coal Board. From 1924 director Northern Shipbuilding Yard. Then director, Elektropribor Electr Instruments Plant.
Retired on pension.
