Career
Founded underground Party printing press. July 1907 arrested and held in Baku jail. After release worked for underground Dag Bolshevik organisation.
June 1911 arrested and exiled from Caucasian Kray for five years. 1912 lived in village Petrovskoye, Stavropol’ Province. After 1917 February Revol helped found and direct Pyatigorsk Bolshevik organisation and Soviet of Workers and Soldiers’ Deputy.
From summer 1917 exec member, Groznyy Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee. 1917 attended two Caucasian Army Congresses in Tif- lis. December 1917 elected member, Military Revol Committee of Caucasian Army.
January 1918, after Military Revol Committee moved from Tiflis to Baku, appointed secretary, Military Revol Committee. From April 1918 Collegium member, People’s Commissariat of Naval Affairs, Baku Council of People’s Commissar. Early April 1918 represented Baku Council at 2nd Congress of Terek Peoples, Pyatigorsk.
August 1918, after collapse of Soviet regime in Baku, arrested along with other leading Baku Bolsheviks and taken to Krasnovodsk.
