Ivan Volkov worked in the style of classicism. He rebuilt Seeger's pharmacy under a post office in 1784 on Revolution Avenue, 25, supervised the construction of the Treasury Chamber under D. Quarenghi's project (1787-1788 on Revolution Avenue, 21). According to the Volkov project, the corps of provincial and city magistrates of 1788-1790 years are not preserved, 4 corps of provincial offices (1788-1795, partially preserved: on Revolution Avenue, 23), D.V.
