1951 directed research on wave phenomena of Kuybyshev Hydropower Complex. Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1946 convocation. Since 1920 on the State Commission for the Electrification of Russia.
1921-1924 USSR State Planning Committee consultant. 1922-1935 instructor and 1935-1944 Professor, Leningrad Electrotechn. Institute; 1943-1953 head of a chair then Professor, Yerevan Polytechn.
