Background
Ignatiy was born in 1865 in Biryuch city, in the peasants family.

In 1897 Ignatiy became a monk, in 1898 became Hierodeacon, in 1899 Hieromonk.
Since 1912, the archpriest of the Valuisky Uspensky Monastery in the rank of hegumen, then archimandrite. After the closure of the monastery in 1924 he lived in Biryuch. He led the church folk choir in Voronezh.
Unreasonably repressed in 1930, and was sentenced to 10 years in a concentration camp, replaced by a reference to the Northern Territory.
He died in custody.
