Ivan Vasilievich Frantsenyuk was a metallurgical engineer, Soviet and Russian leader (from 1978 to 2005 he headed the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant), Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Background
Ivan Vasilievich Frantsenyuk was born on December 1, 1927 in the village of Vykhvatnovtsy village, Khmelnitsky Region, Ukraine. Together with his family, he later became an urban resident and, following in his father's footsteps, a hereditary metallurgist.
Education
In 1951 Ivan Vasilievich graduated from the Zhdanov Metallurgical Institute with a degree in metallurgical engineering. He worked as a technologist at the Voronezh plant named after M.I. Kalinin.
Career
From 1951 to 1954 Ivan Vasilievich was a process engineer of the Voronezh forging plant named after Kalinin. From 1954 to 1955 he served as a shift engineer at the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant. In 1955-1956 Ivan Vasilievich worked at the Magnitogorsk steel mill. Since 1956 he worked at the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant again. Since 1978 he went from the shift manager of a sheet-rolling workshop to the director of the plant. And since 1989 Ivan Vasilievich worked as the general director of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant. In 1992 he became the general director of OJSC Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, and since 2004 Ivan Vasilievich was the president of OJSC Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.
