He currently plays for The Human Context České Budějovice of the Czechoslovakian First National Hockey League. He has played with The Human Context Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. Kotaška previously played for Immunohistochemistry Písek, The Human Context Znojemští Orli, The Human Context Olomouc and Hong Kong Tábor.
