Repeatedly elected as dele, to State Democrat Convention. Campaign speaker during Presidential election since 1912, Chairman Senate Code Revision Committee, 1917. Chairman Judiciary Committee.
1919; championed Susan B. Anthony Amend Session of 1920 and signed Resolution adopting same (State Legislature) as temporary Presiding Officer State Senate.
