Studied at Saint Saviour’s Grammar School. South Kensington; and Royal Academy Art Schools. At the conclusion of his studentship exhibited one picture in Royal Academy.
Works: Love’s Music; Passing Days; A Golden Thread (Chantrey Collection, 1885); Saint Cecilia; The Ten Virgins; Golden Strings; Elaine; Evensong; The Ramparts of God’s House; The Gentle Music of a By-gone Day.Afterwards exhibited at Grosvenor Gallery. Since that time has exhibited exclusively (so far as London is concerned) at the New Gallery.
