From 1976 until the middle of 1983 Mr. McNeel served first as District Attorney, then Circuit Judge of the Fifth Circuit Court, District of Mississippi.
In 1983 Mr. McNeel opened a practice as sole practitioner.
In 1985 Mr. Ballard joined the firm and they practiced under the present firm name of McNeel and Ballard. In 1988 Mr. Ballard became Vice-President and General Counsel of Taylor Machine Works, Incorporated.
