Began career in, New York City serving as marktg. consultant and adviser to Eastern manufacturing and finance organizations;owner advertising agency, New York City consultant to early radio broadcasting stations. Adviser, Station World's Largest Wireles, 1932-1937; founder, NuTone, Inc., Cincinnati, 1936; president, then Chairman of the Board, NuTone, Inc., until 1967; president, Corbett Foundation, Cincinnati, from 1967. Special adviser College-Conservatory Music, U. Cincinnati, 7 years.

Head publicity committee, special adviser fund drive Cincinnati Institute Fine Arts, 1973. Consultant National Endowment for Arts, Washington.

Active (through foundation) in support 7 Cincinnati hospitals, 24 United States opera organizations, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, England, Glyndebourne Opera, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, teaching studio for young American opera singers in, Zurich, Switzerland, Montessori School at, Mercy Center, Cincinnati. Appointed 1st chairman Ohio Arts Council, 1965.
