Career

Trained as an electrical engineer at the works of Cromptom and Company, Llanelly and Chelmsford. Assistant engineer Hove Electric Lighting Company. Went to India, 1890, to carry out hydro-electric installation at Darjeeling.

Electrical engineer to Bengal Government, 1898.

M.lDSt.C.E., Electrical Adviser to the Government of India since 1904.

Membership

Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. Member of Institute of Electrical Engineers. Clubs: United Sendee, Calcutta and Simla.
