Career
He made two appearances for England, both against Ireland, in a 1–1 draw on 25 February 1905 and in a 1–0 victory on 16 February 1907. In 1912 he became a trainer at and would fill this position for the next 10 years. He eventually left the club when Blackburn Rovers made him their manager in 1922.
Carr was the coach of the Danish national side at the 1920 Summer Olympics football competition in Antwerp.
