Membership
He played Gaelic football at various times with his local clubs Clifden, Midleton, Saint Nicholas" and Spiddal and was a member of the Galway senior inter-county team from 1971 until 1977. Cosgrove is unfortunately a member of a unique set of Galway players who lost three All-Ireland finals in four years.
