Jack Slater, is a British digital media designer, he is best known for his film work for the Royal London Society for Blind People and the Labour Party.
Education
Jack was educated at Winter Gardens Primary school, Cornelius Vermuyden School on Canvey Island, Essex and then from 2009 to 2013 at The BRIT School in Croydon, London. In September 2014 Jack began studying broadcast journalism at the University of Leeds.
Career
Jack"s film work is endorsed by senior British political figures including Chuka Umunna Member of Parliament, Steve Reed (politician) Member of Parliament and Andy Sawford Member of Parliament. Jack started producing amateur films from a young age while growing up on Canvey Island, Essex. Jack worked on the local elections for Lambeth London Borough Council as an Assistant Organiser in early 2014 for the Labour Party where the party held the council with 59 Labour councillors.
Views
At age 16 Jack joined the Labour Party (United Kingdom), since becoming a member he has made films for multiple by-elections, the Ken Livingstone for London Mayor campaign, Movement for Change, Stand up for Labour and the Labour Women's Network.
