Chesterfield
He made his league debut four days later in a 2–2 draw away to York City. He made home league debut on 29 September as a substitute, replacing Craig Westcarr in the 89th minute of a 1–1 draw against Torquay United. He was released by Chesterfield on 13 May 2014.
= Sprint-Jeløy (loan) Hazel joined Sprint-Jeløy on loan in June 2013, for six months.
= Buxton (loan) Hazel spent a months loan with Derbyshire club Buxton. = Bradford Park Avenue (loan) On 7 February 2014, Hazel linked up with Bradford Park Avenue on a one-month loan deal.
Non-League
On 19 March 2014, Hazel joined Northern Premier League side Football Club United of Manchester on loan for the rest of the 2013-2014 season. He then joined them on for the 2014-2015 season.
In October 2014 he joined Mickleover Sports from Ashton United.
In August 2015 he joined Frickley Athletic. His father Des Hazel is a former football player who played at professional levels for Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby Town, Rotherham United and Chesterfield.
