Wake Forest (North Carolina) College, 1885-1887. Doctor of Medicine Jefferson Medical College, 1889.

Career

Practiced at Fayetteville until 1899. Organizer, 1899, and president Highsmith Hospital Company. Has devoted entire time from 1906 to hospital surgery.

Now chief surgeon and medical director Highsmith Hospital.

Surgeon to A.C.L. Railroad, Norfolk Southern Railroad Extensively engaged in farming.

Chairman Medical Advisory Board, United States of America. President North Carolina State Medical Examining Board, North Carolina Medical Society. Organizer and 1st president North Carolina Hospital Association.

Fellow American College Surgeons.
