Education
Natali was educated at Disabled American Veterans College, Suva, Suva, Fiji (1955–1958) and, after he arrived in Auckland in 1959, at Street Peter"s College, Grafton (for the 1959 year).

Career
He was employed by the New Zealand Post Office and Telecom New Zealand 1961–1990, retiring as Human Resource manager. He was Secretary (1962–1968) and President (1976–1980) of the Auckland Indian Association of which he was made a life member in 1992. He was General Secretary of the New Zealand Indian Central Association 1968-1975.
Being proficient in Hindi and Gujurati, he was recognised by the Department of Internal Affairs as Official Interpreter.
He represented the Auckland Indian Association on the Auckland Multicultural Society 1984–1990 and was President 1985-1986. He was involved with the Blockhouse Bay Kindergarten, the Bhartiya Mandir (Indian Temple), the New Zealand Gujarati Sports and Cultural Association and the Avondale community.
