Career
He is convicted in the assassination of then Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, who was killed by a human bomb in Chandigarh, on August 31, 1995. He is one of the main culprits in the assassination of the Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. He replaces Giani Gurbachan Singh.
