Career
Tapia joined Indios two years ago after he was spotted by their local scouting team He is known to be an influential player in both defence and attack. Operating chiefly on the right flank of a line up at either right wing back or, in a more attacking sense, right wing.
He has earned local recognition for his pace and high general work rate.
First Team Tapia made his first team debut aged 19 on Saturday 13 November 2010, during the 2010/11 season. He came on as an 85th-minute substitute in a match against Universidad Guadalajara.
A game which they would eventually be defeated 3-1. He has been named on the substitute bench on only one other occasion.
