Career
He is currently playing with the Boston University Terriers of Hockey East (National Collegiate Athletic Association). Forsbacka-Karlsson was drafted in the 2nd round (45th overall) by the Boston Bruins in the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Foreign the 2013-2014 season, Forsbacka-Karlsson moved to North America to play with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL. During the 2014-2015 USHL season, Forsbacka-Karlsson led the Lancers in scoring with 53 points in 50 games.
He was selected to participate in 2014 CCM/United States of America Hockey All-American Prospects Game where he was named his team"s the most valuable player.
Forsbacka-Karlsson has committed to play the 2015-2016 season with Boston University. He also competed with Sweden at both the 2013 and 2014 IIHF World U18 Championships.
