He plays for Zain of the Jordanian basketball league. Maaytah competed with the Jordanian team at the International Basketball Federation Asia Championship 2009. In 2009, Soobzokov helped the Jordanian team to a national best third-place finish by averaging 3.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game off the bench for the team
The third-place finish meant that Jordan qualified for its first ever International Basketball Federation World Championship.
