Career
He began his career as a player with First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Omma Sports Club. He helped guide First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Jameaa (renamed First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Talaba in 1977) to the top division in 1970 with the likes of Qusai Abdul-Sattar and Shamil Kamil, and became head coach of the club in 1974. He went onto coach First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Rasheed, First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Nafat, the Iraqi army national side and several clubs in Libya and the United Arab Emirates. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Pedegogy from Pittsburgh University.
He is currently working as a football analyst for Dubai Sport channel for their Bundesliga matches.
