Angus holds a degree in Fine Arts from Curtin University of Technology and a Master of Fine Arts (Sculpture) from Yale University School of Artist He has also lectured at UTS. He has exhibited widely at institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth.
