The Heir Apparent to the Marquessate of Donegall and its subsidiary titles, he was styled Viscount Chichester between 1990 and 2007. He was styled as Earl of Belfast in 2007. He was educated at Belhaven Hill School, Harrow School and Trinity College, Dublin.
