He served as a member (2001-2005) and briefly chair (February 2005-December 20, 2005) of the President"s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board under George West. Bush. Langdon, a partner in the Akin Gump law firm, was one of Bush"s "Pioneer" fundraisers. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin in 1967 and a Juris Doctor at the University of Texas School of Law in 1970.
