Career
Born in Liverpool, he received a primary education before migrating to Australia in 1903, where he became a miner and shearer. He was an organiser with the Australian Workers" Union and the Sydney Vice-President of the Iron Trades Federation. He served in the military 1915-1919.
In the 1931 Labor split, Dunn joined the Language Labor group.
He contested the 1934 election under this heading but was defeated. He died in 1945.
