Career
His paternal great-grandfather, Carl Joachim Hambro, was a Danish immigrants to England who founded the Hambros Bank. He graduated from the Harvard Business School. Hambro served as the Executive Director of the family business, Hambros Bank, from 1972 to 1985.
Hambro has served on the Board of Directors of Primary Health Properties since 1996.
He has been the Chairman of Hansteen Holdings since 2005. Hambro is the Chair of The Henry Smith Charity.
