James Miller is a retired Australian pole vaulter.

His main domestic competitor was Simon Arkell.
Achievements
He won the bronze medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and competed at the 1995 World Championships without reaching the final. He became Australian champion in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997. His personal best jump was 5.75 metres, achieved in February 1996 in Melbourne.
